Bret Harte Preschool

While Bret Harte has a full-time staff dedicated to the educational needs of our kindergarten and first graders, we also are proud to offer a state preschool program through the district to children within the area who are four years old on or before September 1 and are in income eligible families.

We limit enrollment in the preschool program to 24 students per classroom to allow for an enriching experience for each and every child. When all classes are filled, we will create a waiting list from which we will invite children into the program as vacancies occur.

Preschool Registration

We will accept appointments in April for registration in May. Please make sure your child's immunizations are up to date and that they have received a TB skin test. Please have your doctor complete our State Preschool Student Physical form before your appointment in May. If you have any questions, please call Brandy Guzman at (559) 992-2223.
